This truly inspiring song was sung by Ed Ames, circa 1968.
The lyrics and music by Davis/Aute.
Few songs ever captured the GREAT QUESTIONS and challenges of the 20th and 21st Centuries like this great song. Truly haunting lyrics and questions...
Enjoy, ... and please share with friends.

  • People find through music a way to express their frustration with the insanity of man and life.Take care ADonovan43

  • @ADonovan43 True. and THE ANSWER/s are found by Way of an encounter with Christ via THE HOLY SPIRIT and The Truth of the Gospel. Jesus Himself said so. ... I found out He was right.

  • Yes. Clearly one of the greatest lyrics of the 20th Century.

EVERYONE needs to think about the questions raised by this song.

    :^)

  • Anything Ed sings is my top song! ;)

  • Ed Ames had a tremendously masculine voice. He was a unique talent. I have another video uploaded also on the same awesome song, WITH images to match the lyrics! glad you enjoyed it.

  • Yes. They are profoundly important questions, ... and everyone should ask them honestly, ... and seek for THE REAL ANSWER. It's not about 'religion' or 'churchianity.' ... it's about THE REALITY of Who Jesus really is, ... and what HE has promised to fulfill.

  • Thank you. We're working on a second version that has more images. ... but I think it is important that people be able to READ the lyrics as they are sung, ... and then contemplate the meaning and implications.

GOD bless. you are welcome to make your own version, sis. it's truly a classic song with deep meaning.
