@AlexLong1000 I wouldn't say this is simple! Usually the easiest (technical) pieces are the most difficult to play in a musical way :-)
-
yes, why has the pianist been left off this video? Surely this is a duet with both instrument's parts as reliant on the other for context and beauty.

Having just stumbled across this, curteous of classic fm. Your interpretation of this being both delicate, delightful a joy to my ears.

No doubt Anne comes from other galaxy.....there´s no words to describe her talent & feeling.

@bizintin That sounds interesting.

I just bought Seasons...Dreams and Smile. I can't wait for her Bach CD to release. It is pretty fantastic. Anne is also the best thing to add to your Opeth Pandora station for that variety that you love.

@TheSunshineGuy I play violin, and this song is very simple to play. That doesn't make it a bad song, it's one of my favourites, but the fact is this is a simple song.

wonderful, really :,)

peut-être la plus belle version...
Only idiots who dont know or understand classical music would say such things. This, by the way, is Anne Akiko Meyers, revered my many as the best violinist of our time. If it were so simple, why would she play it before an audience? Any way, if you don't appreciate classical music, don't watch it on you tube and don't bother with such negative, underinformed commentary. Informed music fans and musicians know better. There. You have been corrected, idiots!
