The Creed is the most important part of the Liturgy in which it is said that the bread and wine in the challis is transformed into the body and blood of our Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ.

  • Thank you for posting this series of clips. Hopefully people can learn more about what happens at the altar during the liturgy.

The bread and wine are not "said to be" "transformed" during the Creed. The transmutation takes place during the epiklesis. It's quite a bit later in the liturgy after "Thine own of Thine own..." and ending at "Amen! Amen! Amen!"

And don't forget, we confess that the bread and wine in the cup are "truly", not merely "said to be", the Body and Blood of Christ! :-)

  • Beautiful!!!
