@guitarhamster102 I was a bio major as well, and I thought the same thing... I work in a totally different field but I learned that a degree is never useless, regardless of major.

@DINA3105 if you are in the LA or sanfernando valley are. Los Angeles Valley College(LAVC) has a great program with great instructors. They also teach the course at college of the canyons, UCLA, and I think at santa monica city college, some places in pasedena and those are all the ones i know of. Im currently in my last month of training at LAVC

im in high school and ive been intersted to be an EMT! i just want to know whats the best school to go to be a profesional paremedic in southeren california???my neighborhood is always surrounded with ambulances and police officers,and i once saw a man getting ranned over and i was helpless seeing this guy on the floor,but thankfully paremedics are always there,thats why i want to choose this career it motivates and inspires me alot ! i bet its hard to keep up with this job but also enjoy it !:)

@jalen77232 A 24/48 refers to a type of ambulance schedule that our crews work in certain areas.
Employees are scheduled to work a 24 hr shift then are scheduled off for 48 hours and then the schedule repeats itself. Employees on this schedule work approximately 10 days a month.
