I tested this amp in the shop today, and I was really really impressed, even with the cheap Squier Strat I was using. And it's so loud, it will blow yours socks right there. I didn't get to check out all the amp variations, but the clean sound I was using was great. The MkII apparantly is better as you can tweak the presets to a greater extent. I'm seriously considering buying this. Will have to take my guitar to shop and try it properly though. YouTube isn't good enough for that :)

did you play on insane some song of band pitch black?

Hey bro, this sounds great. And I especially love ur devil's horn when switching the channel. I'm using a Bogner Alchemist and kinda tempted to get this instead since the Bogner is not my sound (too smooth and creamy, I need more grind!!!). And yes, I'm low on budget.

Is this amp good for home playing? Isn't it too loud?
I think about byuing it and it's important for me

how did u play the riff on the tremolo? it sounded like something tom morello would play.

ur good man

hahaha did anyone else notice the devil horns as he turned it to Metal

Jeez! will all you guys stop ragging on Line 6 gear. It's great sounding, versatile and affordable. If you can afford to blow $6000 plus on a MESA/Diezel/Cornford/Soldano stack, great! I envy you, but stop coming across as golden eared snobs who feel you can dictate to the rest of us (who aren't as financially fortunate as you) what we should perceive to be a great sounding amp. I've been playing for over 35 years and the affordable gear available today is nothing but good news for new players.

@095MetalHead I play a 212 Spider Valve in my deathcore band and gig with it. It's more than loud enough and while it doesn't get the low end of a closed back cab, it's certainly good tone wise and cuts rather well. I use it personally with the gain rolled back less tham 12 o'clock on the insane channel and it rips with my other guitarists 6505+ head and sounds killer. Its great for metal and deathcore man. Just might need a good noise gate pedal or suppressor at gigging volumes...

Blue Metal is the best for Metal/hardcore i have only one complaint about this amp
in this chanel and any other with higher gain makes an annoying noise for 1 second in the end of any thing you are playing
maybe whith a noise suppressor it leaves me play without complain
sorry for my english i know im bad hahahaha

@095MetalHead yes
Hello
Your video has a bit of noise, it is recording or amplifier?
Thanks

i have a line 6 spider valve and i have 2 complaints.
1: the amp is too clinically and lacks warmth
2: the way the volume jumps when you switch between presets is driving me insane.
is there a cure for this problem?
FREECHEESECOMPANY 1 year ago
@FREECHEESECOMPANY sure, there is a simple solution to problem 2: just set the presets in the memory of amp in the same volume level.
Problem 1: use knobs :] Really, my blues channel is warm as real expensive tube amp without digital crap.

@kamilkubik
Plug into a Fender Super or Diezel VH4 and you will be blown the f**k away.
Line 6 is affordable and versatile. Line 6 is NOT quality tone. I bought the latest and greatest rackmount product from Line 6 and sent it right back... it was horrible compared to a Mesa Triple Rectiifer... and that ain't saying much. The Rectifier doesn't have great tone.

@squirttilithurts yes, you're right, but don't speak about Diezel amps because it's just another level (and price is 4x higher). Line6 is just perfect solution to people who don't want to spend 2000$ on amp and have good tone and versatility. I wrote that they sound awesowe, but I don't expect highest quality of tone, because of price of this amp! For me Line6 Spider Valve is a leader in medium class amps.
