The Pygmy Shrew is the world's second smallest mammal. We had Sunday morning coffee with a gift from Muffet. See a full grown shrew bite James! Very exciting...

  • In Science were dissecting owl pellets. In my pellet I got 4 shrew skulls. One is smaller than a pinky nail!

  • Awww!I read about them in a book so I wanted to see one

  • They're very cute but don't make good pets - although you can supplement their diet with softened cat food, they need vast amounts of live insects. They're almost completely blind and will attack anything that moves, including your hand and their bite is very painful! Much better sticking with a mouse or a gerbil

  • Don't take videos in such a environment... half shadow half sunlight, makes it painful to watch. -_-"

  • I WANT IT

  • Awwww so cute.
