@proudfemale if you do not believe Quran write a book better than Quran..we saw alot of book written by some person against the Quran for their desires or domination and they are all under the earth and no one care themanymore dear granny..and if you can not show any verse in quran about to kill animals with out any important reasons (attention here) to kill humen to kill nature (you can never show thanks fully to Allah c.c)

@ibolee79 Presumably the situation is summarised more or less correctly at Wikipedia under Apostasy Do a Google search for Apostasy i.e. the traditional punishment is death, but modern scholars dispute this interpretation. But note the long list of countries (including Saudi Arabia and Iran) where the penalty is still death, presumably more in theory than in practice.
