Dude, 'grunge' was a scene relevant at the time; wtf would you want to bring it back for? It would be a low rent, inauthentic version of itself in this day. It would look like a damn caricature. Let it be what it was and move on. New grunge movement...psh.

No they didn't. Duvall lucked into the job due to Jerry playing with him (and CWTF) for his solo tour. They did not audition singers.

Oh would you people shut up. I would much rather have a band member get replaced and still have a band then NO BAND at all. And, Jerry, Mike, and Sean said they wanted to play these songs again live. So they needed to get a singer. Why is that so fucking hard for your people to understand?

Duval is doing a great job. Yes, what happened to Layne Stayley was bad. I wish I had the chance to see him live but, the other mebers of AIC wanted to do play these songs live again. They held auditions to see who was better and he won. Your just letting Layne's death get in the way of your judgement. Having someother guy singing his stuff is not dissraspect. Dissraspect would be if they were bashing him. And their not. Get over it. Layne's dead and he's never coming back.
