  • @misgret Mark Farner was the first to send the olive branch...About six years ago.....Don Brewer says NO... Legal shenanigans pulled by Mr. Brewer during this very reunion tour, dragged the rug right out from under Farner, so now Don & Mel collect all tour receipts cutting Mark out completely (except for mechanical royalties). This vindictive power play by one member of this great band will probably rob us of any final glory (HOF)... Or lasting legacy......

  • classico classico

  • So many bands cover this song , But none as good as this .

  • guns and roses best was slash

  • Tragically there are no bands left life GFR. This was pure rock at its finest. As a Canadian, I think this is one of the greatest rock songs ever recorded and I think my fellow GFR fans in the states should do what they can to get the original GFR line-up back together. I know Farner has chosen a different path, of which I truly respect..but for the sake of continuing the originality of one of the best rock bands ever..please get back together. HELL WE ARE NOT GETTING ANY YOUNGER GUYS ! :)

  • If there is one reason why I'd like to be American, is because of this song.

  • Can't beat the original lineup.

Come on, guys! Get it (back) together!

  • I always like this song. Why can't there be bands like that anymore. It upsets me what constitutes todays "music". I remember guitar bands and metal being so popular back in the day.. I know metal is still around and so is guitar but you hardly hear it like you did then.

  • Don Brewer is the best!

  • this should be the new national anthem
