Tim Handley, Gigabyte Technology marketing manager for Pan Asia, Africa and Latin America, unveils the company's new flagship motherboard - the Gigabyte GA-P55-UD6 - at Rectron South Africa's offices towards the end of August 2009.

Seems you can hit 5.7GHz on a Core i7 870 CPU using one of these babies: http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=688517

  • Gigabyte are bad brand for ocing ^

  • Dude, just use Trucrypt

  • @Muniez89 Well, if I understand right, you must see that the UD5 has 12 phase-power with tripple channel memmory,and the UD6 has 24 phase-power but with dual channel memmory (even if has 6 slots) ...the prices are the same eventually, the processor will give you the final answer...or, in this case, the i7 930 and 860 are too at the same price...than, you must make a choice between the memmory dimms, or 6 GB (x58) or 4/8 GB (p55) . Good luck

  • can anyone help me?

    I have a Gigabyte EX58-UD5 and the GA-P55-UD6 is too much better than mine or not too much?

    Soz bad english. "Im Portuguese".

    Ty =)

  • Very nice detailed review. Thanks a lot. :)

    About dual bios, i think ASUS uses them in their mobos already.

  • You misunderstood my point but that's ok.

  • the first gigabtyes boards have had dual bios since 2003 they made it first. and many boards "already have items in them" the point is they have them dosnt mean they are going to stop progress.

  • @rubensaron yea but check if the hyperx is supported

  • @townending MSI Sux, kinda of... their quality of making their board suck... I prefer EVGA, ASUS or GIGABYTE

  • I have the GA-P55-UD4, similar, but man i am amazed by the quality and preformance much better than my previous msi board
