@Radman23078 My comment wasn't really a reaction to the parking. It was a comment made about police in general. Some are good, most are tossers
-
@hanginghimself Its a free car park for a morrisons superstore, you get two hours worth of free parking anyway before you have to pay and display - the OP is just after some attention, dont be so dense.
-
@007RoyalFlush excellent point !
-
Police don't pay for parking: "IT'S A POLICE STATE I TELLS YA"
Drug dealer shot dead by police: "EVERYBODY RIOT!"
The hell is wrong with you people?!
-
police think they are the law, they are not, they are just meant to enforce it, and by that they should lead by example! But as we all know some of the biggest thugs are on the police pay roll!!
-
They think, act and ultimately ARE above the law. All wrong.
-
Maybe he was dealing with a shoplifter inside, and the bag contained evidence i.e what someone attempted to shoplift, and it is seized as evidence until the PF/CPS decide what to do with the case. Officers are allowed to take refreshment breaks just like you are in ANY job and are indeed never off duty.
-
Maybe Marrisons have a deal with the police.
-
@MrLegalauthority This is not personal use of a business vehicle, since police officers are allowed to take refreshment breaks but are never off duty, therefore even when they are on a break, they are still working, therefore it is not personal use. Emergency vehicles are also exempt from all public and private parking fees.

Emergency vehicles are exempt.
Its time to add a few points for some closed peoples minds... The officer came out of Morrisons with a bag of shopping... they should pay like the rest of us... GET THE POINT NOW PEOPLES! see you in another 5 months peoples who can't see the point!

@borninbay Simples point... pc plod never paid for a ticket to park there and also in the UK personal use of business vehicles is not allowed in a tax return claim... Furthermore, the police force is run as a corporate entity who have accounts to keep just like any other UK business. I wonder if a parking enforcement officer would have given the police car a ticket for not displaying a pay and display ticket on the car window!!!
