@CarelisleJaenn19 You're welcome. The YouTube edit is pretty slick. They are constantly adding new features to make it a power online video marketing tool

@TheSteezyPlayer Once you log in you should see the Upload button across the top. It takes some time to upload videos, so make sure you don't click it twice.

@femaleblacks If you click on the Music icon on the top, you can choose from the list of available soundtracks that YouTube provides (just click and drag into your project). I also noticed that you can control the volume of the music vs the volume of your videos using the slider on the bottom right of the editor. Give it a try and let me know if that works for you.

Great video - thanks for the guidance. I have just loaded a video on YT which is over an hour and I just want to cut out about three secs from the beginning. The YT editor facility only seems willing to let me cut 10secs or more. Is this correct?
Is there a solution? I could re-do the edit on imovie but that would appear to mean starting again from the beginning. Grateful for any help you can give

@GlennSM28 Hmmm...very interesting. I tried it myself and found a trick that might help. When you are cutting a video, don't use the slider to set your "cut" point. Use the double arrows >> below the slider. Each click will move the slider by a very small increment so you should be able to do a 3 second cut. It tried it with a 10 minute video...but I don't have videos longer than that. I'm interested in hearing if it works for 1 hour videos.
Cheers,
Hani

@iamawesomeprods There are many softwares available for editing your videos on your computer before uploading them to YouTube. If you are using a PC, I recommend trying Sony Vegas Movie Studio. If you are using a Mac, then I highly recommend using iMovie.
