Tim Storms is low but can't hold a light to Tim Riley

I think he should have kept the beard. It actually gave the impression of a visible jawline.

I think the reason bass notes get confusing to our hearing is that often a bass not has a fundamental, but the 1st or 2nd overtone overpowers our audio judgment. So you tenors who think you hit this note probably don't realize your brain has zeroed in on the 1st or 2nd overtone of this man's singing, instead of the fundamental. It's extremely unlikely you are hitting the fundamental.

holy FOOOOOOOOOCK!!!

@Embrikkkk i concur with your statement except that Vladimir Miller isn't a basso profundo he's a Oktavist. Oktavist's are lower and deeper than Basso Profundo's.

@pongo835 this nor tim riley aint nothing compared to Vladimir miller.
a russian basso profondo beats all of this gospel singing.

To all the tenors who say you can sing the same notes this guy is singing, he is singing a G1 (next video) which is a bunch of ledger lines below the bass clef. Most bases cannot hit it. You may be able to sing an octave or two above (G2 or G3) but G1 is just ridiculous for not only tenors but basses as well.

Why is there a bassist behind him?

lol the lowest notes sound like epic burps
Im a tenor and i can hit those notes just depends how big a range you have !
