  • Was that station at :30 Sacramento? I didnt even know there was a station there

  • The station at :30 is California, though it was closed at the time. At :60 is Sacramento curve. A station did once exist there decades ago.

  • yah looks like it needs a rehab.

  • this takes me back when i just moved out of lake st and cicero in 1992.

  • Memories--At time 3:30, after the Laramie Station stop, the el used to go down to street level and travel the rest of the way to Harlem Ave on street level. In 1970's, the CTA and Chicago Northwestern Railroad negotiated a "Right of Way" for the CTA to elevate their Lake line onto the CNW roadway thus the CTA line became elevated all the way to Harlem in the 1970s. The wood built access ascend/descent trackway was torn down and the curved concrete connection built to connect to the CNW line.

  • This is a worth watching video, Upload the Videos on the Lake St. Line from the Loop to California, and From Central to Harlem/Lake on the Lake-Dan Ryan or the Lake-Englewood Jackson Park Lines.
