LOVAT has a high degree of experience designing and manufacturing for some of the various means of pipe-jacking a tunnel.
LOVAT produces a full range of Pipe-Jacking Equiment including:
- Manned Tunnel Boring Machines-Earth Pressure Ballanced.
- Manned Tunnel Boring Machines-Rock
- Manned Tunnel Boring Machines- Slurry.
- Manned Jacking Stations.
- Intermediate Jacking Stations.
Each Pipe-Jacking TBM is custom-designed to suit the soil/ground conditions of the project. Integrated controls, allow operation by a single operator for the TBM, IGS & MJS. While Self-Propelled TBMs reduce overall jacking forces on the pipe-string.
