The box looks quite, uh, grippy? Personally anyone looking to make their own box for the top I would suggest HDPE (High Density Poly Etheline). I have 2 boxes that I have made with that and it is what is used in ski resorts. It works great

@204SWAG 12ft Long 1ft wide. Made from "Puckboard" You can get it from your local hockey rink, sometimes they charge a small fee or just give it to you. Works really good, year 3 with the box and still runs smooth.
