Ready's Echo Maiden Debut at Saratoga on August 8th, 2007. 5 1/2 furlong sprint, Ready's Echo was 25 lengths off the pace after 2 furlongs, and 20 lengths off the pace after 4 furlongs. He closed with a tremendous rush to grab second, almost sending legendary track announcer Tom Durkin out of his seat.

  • Woah. Just... Woah.

If Echo coulda opened up a bit earlier, I believe he would've had a chance to get 1st, or at least incredibly close to it.

    That was a monster closing.

  • i was waiting and waiting for Ready's Echo, then WOW!!!

  • tom said he came from another county!!more like an exalted meteoroids.

  • @ebbets1965 great horse, isn´t he ... and that was an unbelievable running at home xD

  • Give him another 1 1/2 furlongs.

  • Jockey on Ready's Echo "I couldn't find the nitrous button. When I did though, it was a bit too late. Let this be a warning to the rest of you."

  • LMFAO!! Came from another county is right! Somebody activated the turbo button!!! Bless his horsey heart. He came from NOWHERE!! WOW!!

Horses running is an absolute sight I swear!!

  • LOL.

    That was hilarious!

  • This boy is one of my all-time favorites. I loved him in the Belmont, thought he'd beat Big Brown(which he did), but even though he didn't win, I kept following him. He ran awesome in the Forego, and the Dirt Mile this year, too. Great closer, lovely horse.

  • He just ran in the Breeder's Cup Dirt Mile where he came flying in at the end just like this. Just the same, it wasn't enough to catch the winner

  • close for the WHOA!!

    amazing horse!
