2nd part of the Goodman heat pump installation. Sorry for the lack of any intro and the jumble of clips, I didn't have much time to plan or edit it.

  • What gauge wire are you running to the 100amp breaker. 100amp is a little big isnt it? My 2 ton says max of 40 or 45 but I was gona drop in a 50 to be safe.

  • @K0gashuk0 The 100A circuit is for the air handler, which can draw 60A when the 15kW auxiliary heat is on. That circuit is using 3AWG wire. The outdoor unit has a 30A breaker with 10AWG wire.

  • I always thought goodman and other co's should install a 15 or 20 amp protector for the blower motor and control transformer

  • Nice job.
