I totally disagree with you. You probably come from British Columbia or somewhere in that corner. Here in Quebec so many great bands comes from here and the underground scene is one of the most known in the world. Dude we have cryptopsy, quo vadis, neuraxis, anonymus, martyr, voivod, GORGUTS, Sword, blinded by faith ion dissonance, beneath the massacre just to name a few !For the rest of Canada...there is not a lot of band beside 3 inches of blood a couple of others...Si tu parles francais tcave

Mon bad preferer cest Anvil et ils sont de toronto. Je suis du quebec et je naime pas vraiment les bands metal de la scene daujourdhui. Peut etre que je suis trop old skool pour aprecier la vague metal de notre epoque. Je trouve que le quebec est plus punk et punk hardcore pour ce qui est des show underground. Nous avons vraiment des bon band et des bon show punk et grind au quebec. Probablement une bonne scene metal mais cest juste pas mon style.

My favorite metal band is Anvil and they are from toronto. I am from quebec and I dont see very good metal here. Maybe thats because i am too much old skool for todays metal flow. I think quebec is more punk and punk hardcore for underground music. We have Kick ass punk and grind underground show. Probably a good metal scene but just not my style.

No worries man, maybe I was a bit unclear. It's a cool place if you're a metal fan. All the good concerts come there, while we in BC get only the occasional stop, probably because our lax enforcement of drug laws = metal! Canada is ok for metal, but not great. Other than the ones you said I can only think of Strapping Young Lad, Exciter, Into Eternity, Annihilator, and Kataklysm. No real high profile ones, you know. It would be sweet to have the next Amon Amarth or Neurosis in Canada.

Dude, READ my comment and you won't get so mad! All I said was, people who watch CBC (I'm stereotyping them as 40+ and conservative) don't really get metal. I said nothing against the Quebec metal scene, even though I'm from BC. I said it is miles beyond, not miles behind, meaning I think the metal scenes of BC and elsewhere are inferior.

Dunno if CBC is the right station to do this kind of feature. They and a lot of their viewers I think don't really get metal. Somebody needed to do it anyway, Quebec's metal scene is miles beyond elsewhere in our country.

je pense que jais été mal compris quand jais utiliser Red Neck je parlais pas du band me plutot des journaliste qui fesais comme si le quebcois étais bon yink pour le métal pis bon pour rien dautre .Pis pk tu ma traiter demo je comprend pas .Parceque dans lfond jadore voivod pis metallica ss pas emo ses jsute différent 2k jattend ta réponce
