Standing yoga flow sequence.Involving Lunge( or you could do Virabhadrasana 1), Eagle(Garudasana), Flying Eagle (variation of Virabhadrasana 3), revolved side angle (Parivrtta Parsvakonasana), Triangle ( Utthita Trikonasana), Half Moon (Ardha Chandrasana), Exulted Warrior (Virabadrasana variation), Extended side angle (Utthta Parsvakonasana) and "flyingmonkey" (Ekapada Kondiasnana?) and hand balance transition.
Once the foot steps forward from downward dog it stays still, grounded and firm for all of the standing asanas.
The base of big toe, base of baby toe and heel remain totally grounded on the mat....the foot will want to turn in the transition to half moon......so keep pressing stay grounded and the balance will be firm.
Usually I would stay longer in most of the asanas on the first 2 times then once feeling " in the flow" then only 1 or 2 breaths each asana. and depending on mood and energy level about 4 to 6 times with this standing flow before moving to seated asanas.
Is it just me or do my hands and head look enormous?!?
I know my legs are very short.......
It seems to take a very long time to upload.....is that normal or is it due to our super slow Cambodian connection? think I will have a glass of wine while I wait..............
you are absolutely exquisite. thank you for sharing this beautiful sequence!
