Commentary
TOPIC: economy McCain Obama
TRANSCRIPT:
PAUL KRUGMAN: Well, you know, Obama is making sense, hes talking about relief for the middle class, hes talking about aid to state and local governments, hes talking about programs that would actually put money where it could do some good. Um, McCain, despite all the change candidate, you know hes basically the same ideology that the current administration has had and the basic claim of the McCain people is that theyll do it right, whereas the Obama people are proposing to do something different, which is you know, fairy standard Democratic stuff but fairly standard Democratic stuff looks pretty good right now.

Study finds Paul Krugman is the most partisan economist. Krugman was the only economist to "significantly" change his stances for partisan reasons. Krugman has even gone so far as to contradict his own findings to bash Republican politicians. - Brett Barkley, Econ Journal Watch, May 2010
