Television comedy pioneer Ernie Kovacs stars in this short skit about a great white hunter on the prowl for elephants. Check out Ernie's wife, the lovely Edie Adams, as his "native assistant."

I don't think that would be a problem. Thanks for the suggestion.

Yeah, Ernie Kovacs was amazing. Some of the stuff, like this skit, was straight ahead comedy with a visual "punch line," but other stuff was just Ernie playing with television - and playing with the heads of the Ward and June Cleavers watching at home.

You can't imagine how darkly funny this is if you're not from Wisconsin.

This beats a discussion on exponential and logarithmic derivation; but if it means risking your life, think if over.

Yes, Ernie LOVED reading the "Mad" comic book and magazine (he used to bring copies of it to read at New York's Stork Club), and contributed several articles to it between 1956 and '58. Hence, his fondness for that kind of "jugular vein" humor......

Reminiscent of what a live-action 1950's Mad magazine might look like.
