It snowed again last night, the perfect amount for the snow plow. This time it took care of it with no problem.

  • How many hp does your ride on have? I have a 13.5, would that be enough to plow about 15cm?

  • @badsoldiercamp789 This one is a 25hp V-twin. Most lawn tractor plows are good up to 6" of snow, then the wheels start spinning. Your 13.5 should be plenty, 25hp is way overkill for this.

  • Your mistake was you stopped halfway down the driveway where u could have just turned with your blade angled onto the street and let it roll off the shovel.Trying to push away a pile you made that was wet and compacted was a bad idea.

  • @ranger220022 I never said I knew the right way to plow, still fun though.

  • that plow isn't really stabe..lol it wobbles too much. anything wrong woth it?

  • Yeah, I noticed later one of the pins that mounts it was out part way on one side.

  • @VeghTheHun yes he could use some lessons but hey it's a lot better than shoveling

  • Sell all of the crapsmans and other tractors, and buy a john deere 318!

  • That LAWN tractor is not designed for this type of work. The transmission is very light duty (Tuff-Torq K46, the lightest tranny made) and will fail. I already hear it whining. That plow is very light duty and flops over at the sight of an obstacle , but you can still get a very heavy load of snow to push. The tranny is only rated at 115 lb. ft. of torque, a WheelHorse cast iron hydro is rated for 1650. consider finding a late 70's WH for this work. they can be had for a few hundred dolllar

  • Ive neverp lowed, but it makes sence

  • Just a tip,and im not knocking you here,u tried andi m glad you had fun.

Go down the middle first. Then angle your blade towards the left going left of your strip, then same thing right with blade angled right, should be 4 passes on each side or less.
