Jonathan Dowling is a tall safety prospect out of Southeast High School in Bradenton, Florida. He is Florida's 6th commitment for the 2010 class, announcing on March 1st. He's 6-3 or 6-4 depending on which recruiting service you look at, around 180 and runs in the 4.5 range. His special nack is to play center field and ball hawk, he has long arms and excellent hands. Not a stretch to look at him at WR he's so good at catching the ball. He can cover a lot of ground like a good center fielder, something all the coaches look for but at the college level he'll have to spend some time in the weight room getting bigger and stronger. He certainly has fine talent.
