@onionbob By 'cure,' I am referring to a purely medical 'solution.' I did not learn how to navigate social situations by taking a magic pill or going through some kind of brain surgery. I learned how to navigate social situations through pragmatics training. AS has strengths and weaknesses. The strengths need to be cultivated, and the weakness can be improved with the right education. AS is how my mind works, and a 'cure' would erase the person I am.

@jrmart66 Possibly, but the general trend in music is about relationships. One of the reason that the Bed Intruder song was so popular was because it was a break from the over-saturation of love or party songs. Not like I have anything against love songs or party music, but the music industry could use some more diversity.

I'm not sure I understand the 'pride' logic here. You say you don't want a 'cure', but the basis of your identity as an Asperger's suffer is (as you point out in your song) the medical and psychiatric consensus that defines it as a pathology. If you disagree that Asperger's is pathological (if you think that it's not a problem requiring a cure) then how do you justify basing the existence of Asperger's only upon evidence produced in the context of the diagnosis of an illness?

I hate it when fanboys/girls are all like "OMG this computer sucks cuz it's a MAC/PC and I can call out every little flaw in this computer while patiently putting up with any flaw in my operating-system-of-choice. @jbirdsproductions Ah. I've never heard of LiveType. Let me google that... OH! Well I guess I have it and do not realize it (I have FCS.) Obviously there is nothing wrong with liking two contrasting things, such as how I use both a Mac and a PC and not prefer one over the other.

@NewAgeServerAlarm I used LiveType for the visuals. I know alot of people don't like auto-tune but I personally love the effect. The thing about Auto-Tune (and most other pitch correction software) is that it's ment to be used under the hood without people being able to tell the difference. You only hear the auto-tune effect when the artist wants to use it as an effect. I like good natural singing, and I also like auto-tune. Same way I like both techno and classical music.
