Tangoturb, I would love the chance to see Chicho and Juana live, I would also like to see Sebastion and Marriana, both couples are just amazing but as I am in Canada fro now there is not much chance of that happening anytime soon.
2. Unfortunately, one of the video's soundtracks didn't survive youtube scrutiny. Which I think could have been avoided by claiming the applicability of youtube's 'fair-use-policy". Anyway, I also experienced strongly, that sometimes video's take several times watching before the 'magic' of the live performance can be reexperienced. Maybe some styles are sometimes better videoable?
@workmybollocksoff Fair enough. I didn't want to opinionize. Apparently, on that particular viewing, my eyes must have deceived me into thinking the audio was lagging or something. Had the opportunity last winter to see Chicho & Juana dance live in Amsterdam. I was totally blast away and felt I was witnessing something revolutionary, even visionary. A display of music and dance in the Duif which seemed to me to point the way for tango in the coming future.
Tangoturb, I think you must be watching the wrong video clip, I have never seen chicho and his partners dance any other way but on the beat, he has fantastic musiclity and style as do his partners.
This is a slow Milonga which is a joyful dance compared to Tango. I guess it was played by Firpo. To me, the dancers move excellently to the music and surprise the spectators with intricate steps and mastery rhythm interpretation. A joy to watch.

Too bad the music and dancers are not in unison. Is this something technical that can be corrected?
