@jairoller4life Yeah he is lacking the cultural differences that actually separate blacks from whites. If there was not such a difference I am sure whites would handle it much better, but like other races they like to stay segregated

I love all the hate coming from the comments. None of you grew up in Charleston, MS. It's a great southern town where 95% of whites and blacks get along. The reason the proms have been segregated for years is due to music. White kids mostly listen to Country music (which I don't like by the way) and the black kids listen to hip hop. Neither can dance to the other's music...it's that simple. I now am one of the biggest HIpHop attorneys in North Mississippi...ask Soulja Boy Tell'em...prayn4u

i guess he doesn't notice that he sounds like a 5 year old. There's good and bad people yes. But don't you want the good people to get along? How does the "good" vs. "bad" hypothesis justify segregated proms? I don't want to know how this guy became an attorney.

altough thats stupid cuz how r u gonna make ppl advance if u put them together and from what the documentary showed it was mostly only the parents who were "bad".
