thanks for posting this vid. i was able to successfully repair my daughter's asus after referring to your video. my problem was a defective lcd ribbon cable. i unpeeled the layers of tape and sheilding around the cable, soldered a broken wire back together, then reassembled. your video is directly responsible for me saving the out-of-warranty repair costs. plus, the cable i repaired saved me $50 in parts. that was an expensive piece of wire i fixed.

quick question does the cables and connectors differ from a normal computer? like removing the keyboard/touchpadd cord, it seems u can't fully remove em?

Many thanks for this video. My son just lost a microSd card inside the chassis ( he forgot that reduction for SD-microSD is not in the slot inside :-) ). Whoops. Now how to open absolutely new notebook?

there is some glue under the keyboard so use some force but be carefull, 6 screws! 2:22 unplug by pulling the black upwards, it will turn uppwards or just pull in the blue thing uppwards.
