She actually wasn't born in Yemen. She was born in Israel. Her parents were Yemenite Jews and they wanted to emigrate to live in Israel.

What a fantastic video about a wonderful lady,I have only recently found this atrist and that my friends is my loss.I wish I had known her music many years ago.

About the baby i have no clue though it might be the sun of her husbend that she addopted once merried him and by the way that child is now about 23 years old and one of my best friends.

There really is not anyone like her. She was pure class. Beautiful, talented, and had such an innocence about her. Ofra is the only famous artist that I can remember that carried herself so respectfully. And I don't understand her language and from a country she probably never heard off but she capture my heart with her beauty and voice.

This is a great video - it was nice to find a documentary about Ofra that was mostly in English for once. However, I still have some questions. For example, the producers of the video left the interview with Aloni and his wife untranslated, so I had no idea what was said there. Also, whose baby is Ofra holding toward the end of the clip? I think it might be one of her nieces or nephews but I don't know. Anyway, I really enjoyed this.
