The Motorcycle Safety Foundation puts on the ERC (Experienced Rider Course). I had my camera on the whole time, but as soon as we took the first break I realized that I had forgot to take off my other ride that was still on the card :(

Needless to say this was the only footage I got. However we did...

1. Swerving
2. One handed swerving
3. Distanced swerving
4. Emergency stops
5. Emergency stops in corners
6. Proper cornering
7. Slow speed maneuvers
8. Slowing before corners
9. The box
10. S-turn
11. California roll stop
12. Going over obsticles
13. As slow as you can go

There were many more things we did but it is a 5 hour class (half day) for $100 and was WELL worth it! Go Sign up today and you wont be dissaappointed! If you have any questions feel free to ask!

  • I thought this class was free....

  • @mblader2k3 Depends on the state. Some states it is free, others it isnt.

  • Is it a "pass" or "fail" class, or is it just for your benefit, to get what practice and experience you can?

  • @outerspaceonline It was a pass or pass kind of class. If you wanted to leave early for skip certain maneuvers then you were allowed and they would just give you the card at the end saying you completed it. Guess it really depends on the instructors and how they want to teach it, but mine were pretty easy going. The class was pretty helpful in my opinion because after you take the MSF BRC you will believe to yourself that you have flawless execution on proper mechanics, but in reality you wont.

  • what are those gages 2 on side ?

  • Left side is a custom temp gauge and the Right side is a custom Voltage gauge. Good eyes :)

  • @ShiftNMove I took the MSF beginner course two years ago and have been riding ever since, but I am a humble and careful rider (I named my bike after the Greek goddess who punishes hubris!) and I have been thinking about taking the advanced course for a while. Just curious about the format. Thanks for the reply! I will finally get around to signing up this season.

  • Gota love the chest mount, i''ve developed my own mount but it's not much diff to gopro's.
