Just because some blood thirsty mob has been inspired by some primitive and savage desert myth is not a good reason to roll over and surrender one of the oldest and most valued treasures of Western Civilization. It is however a good reason why that religion has no place in the civilized world.

How many other religions incite blood thirsty mobs over cartoons?

How many other religions have angry mobs chanting for the blood of countries, or the bombing of civilians?

@ZlatkoTheGod How is it that every single time people come running to the defense of this God of theirs, that they don't get it. Let me spell it out for you! You are Defending a so called Supreme entity who shouldn't need to Hide behind You. Do you not understand the point? The whole point behind my comment up there is quite simple. @Michael0075 Thank you for the comment. This is actually why I wouldn't like religion to be eliminated. Giving up on something is easy, but only if you actually dare to take on a challenge and succeed, can you grow as a person, and as a species. I really do hope people will get how pointless and stupid conflicts are...

If only more Christians, Muslims ect. thought and felt like you do, they would be more at peace with everyone, themselves and the mutual respect element of shared moral values that we all agree on could well become the true foundation of a greater world as a whole. @Michael0075 Yeah, frankly I don't care. The point is my religion tells me not to be a jackass and I'm holding on to that. And BTW there definitely is something bigger and more powerful that us. The ideology of God varies from religion to religion. Anyway the point is people are stupid and I don't wanna talk about religion all that much, mostly because I'm a bit sceptical myself. But I chose to believe and I'm pleased with my life so far. Farewell!

Generally speaking, these holy writings that people aspire to, teach that this God is a Perfect supreme being incapable of making mistakes and yet he created two people who were fooled by a talking snake. Regardless whether Adam ate first or Eve ate first makes no difference in the argument as a whole. Then, he blames his creations for their mistake when ultimately, he set them up to fail! Who sinned first? Eve? The snake? or God? Who lied first?

@ZlatkoTheGod Generally speaking, my point is really this: If God wants peace, and Christians, Jews, and Muslims all profess to follow the same God, (Allah, Jehovah, Yaweh, ect) then I find that it would be prudent for said entity to get, and keep his story straight and not produce several differing holy texts that conflict with each other enough for these folks who supposedly believe in him to want to kill each other. Imagine if you had three children who fought like this.
