In the Beginning there was One. But this was existence only in the simplest form- one dimensional, without direction, with no real destination of its own. One was relatively meaningless as far as purpose- without some sort of interaction, opposition, experience and growth. So One became Two. And the two were called Yin and Yang. No longer an aimless and wandering soliloquy, Yin and Yang discover Harmony, Counterpart, and a capability of Spiritual Union- that without one another, would simply not be possible. They had become Individual Souls created from the same spirit - equal but always opposite -separate yet always One.
