Quickie: These are remakes of Final Fantasy 7's Victory Fanfare and some sound effects. They were made for a fan made DS demo of Final Fantasy 7 to show that it was possible to make this kind of game on the DS. Remade in Schism Tracker

  • How did you get the samples from the game? Did you use a program or did you use a sound channel debugger and recorded that?

  • There's an old PSX sample ripper, that I used on the FF7 instrument data file.. It ripped the sounds quickly and easily. It didn't loop the sounds though. I approximated it with the debugger from Pete's SPU plugin.

  • Fantastic thank you! I am sad that this is so hard to find for many other good games. Can't stand this recorded shit from tv....

  • This is awesome :D

  • Nice, this is probably how Uematsu composed the sound track, right? The sound effects are a nice touch also, are they midis on the Playstation as well?

  • How do you get the sounds to hang at the end like for the horn? I managed to get the drum roll to do it put can't get the horn. Also with the piano for the mako reactor. How the sound drags out.

  • what prog did u use

  • Serious good job. It's perfect.
