  • I love the bass tone in this video. I saw redemption with DT and you could hear every note played, but not one note of myungs. How do I get that tone, I have to know?

  • It's his own band- does that still count as a cover?

  • @ragglefraggle09 hey funk and jazz are cool too. however, you're right it is nice to have a really good metal bassist for once.

  • @jarhead4214 shhh don't give away his secrets. LOL

  • @ragglefraggle09 take it easy bro funk and jazz are great and sean would tell you that, well idk about jazz but probably.

  • you are awesome. giving a good name to metal bassists everywhere. in ur face, funk and jazz.

  • One Word > PERFECT !

  • that is just incredible.... why dont i know any bassists this good?!?!?!?!?

  • I want to be you! :)

  • Hey Sean, don't know how active you've been lately on Youtube, but as far as this bass line goes, I've about nailed, except for the bit during the verse where you do the quick run at the end of each measure. I can tell what notes you are playing, but its so fast that I can't find the optimal fingering to make it more possible to do. Assistance please, sir!

  • @bassist12345 Read the comment below and the description. His tone is VERY simple to recreate - just GHS Boomers on an Ibanez SR506. EQ is set flat and is direct input.

  • @Autumnmaker BDADGC - Just your normal drop D tuning.
