The workers at Palmetto Craftsman affectionately refer to the upper work space at Bethel as the dance floor. The space inside the sanctuary is a maze of steel poles, scaffolding and I-beam supports. This provides the workers with a safe environment to make the restorations. The current members of Bethel were granted a tour of the area one Sunday after church. Not all members were able to take the tour. This video gives them access to the area under restoration. Bethel has shared the love of Christ during four different centuries changing the eternal destiny of thousands of souls. This historic house of worship has served to light the path in times of darkness. Now Bethel needs your help to continue this work in the ministry of Jesus Christ. Please give by visiting www.SaveBethelUMC.com today. Thank you and God bless you.

  • I would encourage you to find a church with a strong belief in the Bible and ask the Holy Spirit to guide you. Christ will open the doors to the path you should follow.

Sorry to hear about your condition, I hope it improves. Bethel United Methodist Church in the historic section of Charleston, South Carolina. Christians came from Europe to the Carolinas in the 1600's seeking a place to freely worship Jesus without the imposition of government control. Today, Charleston is alive with Jesus believers who reach out every day to show the mercy and love only a perfect King can give. All the best, Matthew
