Deutsch: Mein erstes 'Dear John'-Video! Waaaah :D Ok, das Videoformat ist jetzt nich' wirklich der Bourner, aber was soll's.
Mir war es in erster Linie wichtig, ein möglichst trauriges Lied zu nehmen, dass aber am Anfang eher noch hoffnungsvoll klingt... wie das Buch bzw. der Film selbst sind.
Das normalfarbige, schwarz-weiße und etwas dunklere Szenen drin vorkommen, ist etwas kompliziert zu erklären, deshalb lass ich es lieber :D
Ihr könnt euch ja selbst Gedanken darüner machen. ;D
Der Mond hat auf jeden Fall eine ganz besonderere Bedeutung in diesem Video, weil Savannah und John trotz der schwierigen Zeit sich durch den Mond immer noch mit einander verbunden fühlen.

I thought that it's important for a 'Dear John'-Video to take a sad song - but one, that sounds more hopeful at the beginning that it seems... like the book or the film.
Sorry, I can explain the meanings of the normal colored, black and white and some darker scenes, 'cause is too difficult and complicated so I don't explain something complicated, so I shouldn't try it [I hope, you can understand what I mean... somehow :D]
You can think about the meaning of the different coloured scenes if you want :D
Ok... the moon definitely has a very important role in this vid, because Savannah and John feel that the moon still connected with each other - whether John is in the army or Savannah is married.
