My friend you have talent .....no offense but it sounds like you are playing classical flamenco.....I would suggest you add some fire to it for it to sound truely flamenco....also you might want to work on your rasqueados, remember Flamenco rasqueados should be strong and deliberate. Although I am not an authority I do play Flamenco and las Sevillanas. Take care!

Because a style in flamenco like alegrias or sevillanas have the same notes to play...you can add at solo parts you're own notes to make you're own song.Cheers

It's taken from "Abril en Sevilla" by Paco de Lucia

that is some awesome guitar playing mr. grigassy!
this is almost the same song "a la feria" from Paco Pena`s album "toques flamencos"
are those falsetas from "common knowledge"? other way i can´t explain myself how is this an original composition if its 50% sounds exactly like that old song.

Thank you for taking the time to watch my video and listen in such detail. Paco Pena is one of my influences and I have studied his books and records. I double checked and I am in fact quoting his E minor falseta (which he plays fourth and I play third), 8 measures in the 1st copla. So that part is not original, but I added bass notes (and thus harmony) and a different variation on the third copla. Every other falseta is different and, as you say, are common knowledge, or traditional.
