Neil Sedaka wrote this. 2 of the biggest fans of this song were Dara Sedaka (his daughter) and friend Andy Gibb.

  • Andy was great here. The tape is old get over it people.

  • @DA90027 Honestly does this sound like a compliment and a gratuitous remark to me? Yet this person emailed me and insisted it is.

  • Hi Ilsy! How could I have missed this wonderful and beaut;iful video and song of our precious andy???? Thankfully I came upon it now, and have Andy's soft loving voice and images imprinted in my heart. Thank you so much for sharing this priceless treasure from an old version tape... I am so glad you are able to share these with us! Keep up the good work!

    xoxo Lisa

  • That' so touching thanks. Andy interpreted every song he ever performed with so much love. THat is why had he lived on he would be as big as Paul McCartney, Mick Jagger, and Michael Buble. People do not want just a catchy phrase or a melody, they want honesty. And that's what Andy was always prepared to give us. A real artist. That is why so many young aspiring stars are taking a leaf out of his book. Thanks 4 ur comment xoxox

  • Yo - I really like Michale Buble... but can't imagine him in the category of McCartney or Jagger.

  • @Johnsinboston What I meant was the real good performers like Buble and Jagger perform theatrically. They make you feel the song the old fashioned way, making you feel just like they do when they're on the stage.

  • Andy was hot, but more than just hot, he was a lovely person unlike many singers today who are rude and unpleasant characters. It is easy to be hot, but not easy to be beautiful and a good hearted person which Andy was. That made him special.

  • Totally awewome clip. Andy could sing so incredibly sweet, I've never seen anyone doing it better. He could really melt your heart with just his voice and with his sweet presence, he would just leave you in permanent awe like those girls surrounding him. I think I still haven't recovered from this permanent awe! Thanks Ilya, great post! Cheers, Nikka

  • its sad to see this.

  • Omigosh! How did I miss this? So glad I found it...Andy's performance here is just so aahh!...as usual...the way he sang love songs did indeed "leave images imprinted in my heart" as Lisa said...He sang with such emotion, compassion, passion, yet so sweet...he put his all into every performance and you could see that side of his personality come through....yes, I agree he was one of the all - time Greats - still is. You're Forever Young Andy!

  • Loved Andy and Maurice. May they both rest in peace. Both excellent. But Neil and Dara cannot be duplicated. The passion was in their voices.

  • Yes it does prove my point, instead of apologizing for making a mistake you continue to show your stupidity. Thank your parents for raising a moron.
