@ganjar420 Yes, I know, but 2hp works out to less than 100lbs of thrust and that Argo probably weighs 100 times the weight of your Pontoon boat. Not to mention that an Argo is more of a Barge than a boat.
-
Huh? I can swim faster than that, my pontoon boat with 30lb trolling motor goes twice that fst.
-
It would also depend on what AATV.
Some have more angle in front so they run more like a boat. This argo is like a plow.
I put a 4hp on a full size landtamer-II 6x6 which is much heavier than an 8x8 argo, and i was really rolling.

max speed>???

doesnt go that fast :/

How fast, 1 or 2 mph?

Looks good. A small outboard is easier to deal with when driving on trails to get to the pond.. Is that a long shaft or short shaft outboard?

I'm not sure if it's short or long shaft. I wish this one would have been a little longer but it pushes it better than the 8 wheels do. That little outboard is a 1984 2 HP Evinrude.

2hp pushes it along alright, looks good.

It wasn't bad. A 5 or 6 HP would be better though. I would not be afraid to use a 9.9 HP. The stability without the steel rack is much better.
