VLoG #102: Something 2 think about #3. The quote I challenge myself as well as others with is "Have you been taught what you think you believe". Hope you brought your thinking cap for this one ;)

  • swoozie my man, i dont dissagree nor agree, first off i think ive seen all your videos and they are a blast, but, i dont understand why everyone is arguing about science vs. god or w/e. myself, im not a beleiver in god. just tooo far feched, so is alot of science but saying some dude in the sky did it doesnt sell it for me, and if you could change my mind, or anyone here, i would love to learn. just my two cents, big up to swoozie

  • *Sigh*

You ask some good questions that you could easily find the answer to if you read some geology books and not just grade school level general science books. Any college level intro to Sedimentology and Stratigraphy will do. Some of the stuff you say is myths or misunderstandings of some basic geologic principles. ex. Each layer takes millions of years to form. Getting out and looking helps too. Thinking is good, but if it stops there then you will miss the things you didn't think about..

  • It's probably not 100% correct, but in my school we learned that the earth was appx 4.6 billion years old

  • wells the earth has to b a few million years old cuzz

the continents used to b one

and then they moved away from eachother and stuffies

    and that takes foreva apparentley

    soyeahes

  • Cool video! But I kind of got distracted midway through because of Spider-man 2 playing in the background.

  • It is called Geology.

The earth is 4,545 million years old, + or - 2 million years.

Dirt in a jar does not make layers, It has big stuff on the bottom and gradually get finer till there is silt on the top.

Half way through and you are just rambling....crap video,,,, keep on topic.

  • >:o 240p we meet again!

  • What textbook was that? Between 1 and 1 million years old? More like 4.5 billion.

  • swoozie:you got ur thinking cap on?

    me:always!
