Finaly there are some pictures of Nvidia's true next high end chip. Also known as the G100 or GT200.
Now branded as GTX 280.

The card has been released now and enters the retail market with a proude price tag of 600$.
The prices are likley to drop down a bit as Nvidia prepares to compete with ATI, who have finaly been able to come up with some competition, if the rumors are true.

This will be a 65nm core.
There are rumors about a 55nm version of this chip called GT200b, possibly even with GDDR5 memory.

It has a PCIe 2.0 interface. However it will work on a normal PCIe x16 slot.

Download and run CPUz. Just google it.

Once you ran it, go to the mainboard tab in that program and see if it says PCI-Express x16 or 2.0.

Then you need to ensure your PC has a strong enough PSU, I recommend a minimum of 550 Watt.

And it needs to have 6pin and a 8pin PCIe connector.

I can tell you right now your PC will not be able to support this card.

You could also go to the HP website and look your model and its specs up.

Not really. SLI never brings a decent and most of all stable performance boost.

Get the fastest single card around instead of two less good ones. You'll always win that way.

ok this suks i thought as technology progressed items lyke this are gonna be more miniature and high performance any way this card and the 4870x2 suk coz they take duble the space of a normal graphics card cant they just put a liquid pipe cooling system which is more effective and take less space
