I really like all your shotgun episodes. It is probably the most informative thing on youtube specially for beginners on this subject. Please continue to do more shotgun sport videos. Thank you.

Thanks Hayknock for the comments. We plan to film more shotgun episodes...next one should be an introduction to sporting clays...probably around this fall. We also planned an episode on choke selection and patterning however if there is something you'd like to see addressed sooner, please let us know and we'll try to accommodate you.
Thanks,
Steve

Same here...my 7/8oz loads I am using a cb-0178-12 wad with 16 grains of Alliant extra-lite powder..... puts me in the range of 1225fps my 3/4oz loads should be a little faster but I don't have a chrono to actually verify.

Yup...still running 7/8 oz now for everything. I've got 1000 of the ClayBuster CB-0175 (3/4 oz) wads coming. I'm going to load them up and start using them for skeet too. My goal is to see if I can run 25-straight someday with 3/4oz loads. I consider the 3/4oz load a good choice for the "close in" game...ie targets out to about 30-35 yards (16 yard trap, skeet field).

you both still using you're 7/8oz loads here? I dont shoot trap but love 7/8oz for skeet and I just started loading up 3/4oz for practice....takes the sting out of my pump gun and makes me even faster on doubles which is already lightning ....people cant be leave how fast I am on doubles with a pump.
