  • It's a Canon point and shoot (started to put piece of shit, but it's served me well for what it is), it's a PowerShot A1000IS I got for Christmas. If you can afford it, get something with interchangable lenses, having little focal control is the most frustrating thing in the world.

  • does that one have a glowing neck? we have smaller ones that are just black/brown here in S. texas. As a kid I used to put them on their backs and watch them jump.

    This one I found in my back yard, in south Georgia. They're the largest we have here in the South, as far as I know, and they're called eyed elaters.
