Hubbard was the pioneer. He let us hear the SID chip's potential. Follin unlocked that potential and more. Only Galway and possibly Jereon Tel stand up to him. His music was stunning, magical, and way beyond what shoud've been possible. Love Ghouls 'n' Ghosts 8 (Level 2) - so brilliant - as is every track in the game.

Bionic Commando reminds me of StarWars. Ghouls and Ghosts is fucking amazing. So is Gauntlet. They all are. SHIT.

my god...... 15 seconds in and i am already blown away. best c64 soundtracks ever. truly stands aout from the stereotypical c64 stuff. love.

This guy was not just a good musician, but a technical genius. He knew how to make every soundchip on existence sound like an angel singing.

Awesome!

Really dog the video effects there. That is killer

I think he's music is different because he treated SID like a synthesizer. And he mastered it.

One of my fave video game composers. Fantastic!

Is that a Star Wars homage at 3: 06? AWESOME.

Gauntlet III's 1st level intro sounds like fucking Pendulum. The rest is just Tim Follin's creative mind splattering all over the fucking speakers, flat out.
Tim Follin's work = holy shit!

Ok, so Rob Hubbard was the original SID chip master but Tim Follin took things to a whole new level and is seriously underrated when it comes to chip tunes.
Some of the sounds he coaxes out of the SID are just incredible.
