I've lost count of the number of times I've seen a nearly empty MUNI streetcar leave the Caltrain station in San Francisco shortly after the arrival of my commuter train. I'm not the only passenger who has wondered why the driver couldn't wait a few minutes longer (not all drivers are like this). The last time this happened (after making it to the streetcar before the doors were closed), I decided to make this video (using the video mode of a small digital camera). This is my first and only youtube video - I hope some good might come of this.
The Muni subway is tightly scheduled and run by computer. If one car runs late, it will ripple through the whole system. Maybe the caltrain was 2 minutes late ;)

I would convince the crowd to race the train and throw stuff at it.

I hope something comes of this, too. They need to wait.

Don't you all think that the operator supposed to keep the schedule, or other way he will back up the streetcar traffic because you people don't know how to move fast! Waiting for all of those people - he would miss at least 2 traffic signals...SHOULD I SAY ANYTHING ELSE?
P.S. They all will be first for the next car!
