Akio is way better than Herman. I've seen them live, and Akio can actually play his stuff. I did not come away with the same impression from Herman.

@Orth0doX how can you compare Akio Shimizu's playing and Anthem's sound to Yngwie "soulless" Malmsteen, that's one of the most dumbest things l have ever heard! go and actually listen to an Anthem album and you will hear alot of soul and feeling in the music.

Hahahah! I actually didn't want to be harsh in my response to OrthOdoX, but completely agree with you. I think it's retarded to compare Anthem to Yngwie. More over, and just to go on record here, I love the early Yngwie albums, but no longer follow him. Basically I feel like, no Jeff Scott Soto, no Yngwie.

Anthem to me is the greatest Heavy Metal band in the world!! srsly these dudes don't fuck around, in their 30 year carrier they haven't yet released a single bad album and thier songwriting gets better and better

IMO they are mighter than the gods of heavy metal Judas Priest.

@Orth0doX XDD please do point out where are the malmsteen licks XD just cause he uses one or two licks that sound like neo-classical guitar doesnt make him a malmsteen copy-cat, malmsteen didnt make that up , first of all, second, this guy just uses it in one phrase in the whole song.
