...sure, it's good art. But personally, I can't get past the fact that it doesn't look like Dave from 'Homestuck' but rather a golden-haired version of Hibari Kyoya from 'Reborn!'.

This looks really sweet and all, but it looks just...a lot like the drawing style from Katekyo Hitman Reborn. Homestuck has a much different style of drawing; more cartoony? Regardless, a stoic Dave seems really in character. It's just hard to imagine Dave like that when Hibari Kyouya looks like the same person with a black wig.
Really great though, it's not that it's bad. The drawing is just hard for me to see when my brain is going 'that's Hibari Kyouya!' over and over again.

@KittyMariChan ah well i don't draw like this at all anymore but i still don't draw in a cartoony style and i don't think homestuck has any certain style you have to draw in in order to do fanart for it, that is what i really love about the fandom
