  • Just a note, I appreciate anyone who takes the time to post a comment, but i won't allow the serviceman's names or kin posted. I speak for many non-violent activists when i say that the military people who serve aren't our "enemies". The corrupt system is what we need to change. Thanks!

  • ["the Court cannot conclude definitively whether the threat or use of nuclear weapons would be lawful or unlawful in an extreme circumstance of self-defence, in which the very survival of a State would be at stake."] -- ICJ .... Gordon, what happened to my other post? Did you see I proved you had no grounds for the statement(s) you made earlier?

  • @43zeep, sorry, just saw it. Thanks for taking the time to respond. I'll be back later. Gordon

  • Nice. free evidence for their court trial. WTH.these people need to spend 5 yrs in prison. No respect for the law! They live in their own little world with no idea the consequences their actions have on society. Never mind the fact that other countries want to wipe us off the face of this planet, but, then you have people in our own country knowingly violating the law trying to make a point. Let them have it and send them to prison. Then, they will hopefully understand the definition of freedom.

  • @43zeep, respect for the law is what we want

  • @GordonSturrock >>> How so? The law is made up of EVERY American citizen, not the few nut jobs that going around, trying to punch holes in the very fabric this country was founded upon. I would be very happy to hear your thoughts on this. Do explain.

  • @43zeep, from the video's sidebar text: "These weapons, and their delivery systems, threaten the destruction of other nations and people and as such constitute violation of International Law and of Ruling of the International Tribunal of Justice of 1996."

  • I find it odd that many people responding with their comments here seem to be reacting in fear of non-violent people who prefer peace. Who are the cowards here? The ones threatening the world with nuclear disaster or those w/the guts to stand up against them? Some comments from people calling themselves patriotic would deny the protesters their lawful right to protest &free speech. This country was founded by protest against the British rule. People speaking up is VERY American & VERY patriotic.

  • what a bunch of ungrateful cunts.

  • I don't think these protesters have a strong belief in what they're doing. The hippie in the orange jacket should have been running his ass off to get his letter delivered. He didn't care about the law up to that point, why start now? If he was unable to run I blame his leadership for setting the mission up for failure, they should have known. I think those young Sailors showed some real restraint by not beating them. Try it at night next time and let's see what happens...

  • @GordonSturrock >>> Ok, no problem. Take care.

  • @43zeep >>> Furthermore, thank you for taking a small piece of the courts opinion from 1996. Most of us U.S. citizens are not idiots and we can read the findings of the courts in their entirety. Here's another portion of the rpt: ["the Court cannot conclude definitively whether the threat or use of nuclear weapons would be lawful or unlawful in an extreme circumstance of self-defence, in which the very survival of a State would be at stake."] -- ICJ

  • @GordonSturrock >>> You have your OPINION. The U.S. has violated no kind of international law with our weapons systems. Furthermore, these same weapons are the very tools we have to continue a safe and free existence from many countries having the same technology. The world is a dangerous place and the guy with the biggest stick is the one who usually walks away. Its basic human nature. War sucks and many times it unnecessary; however, this is the world we live in. Best of luck with fixing it.
