  • I laugh every time I remember how that stooge in Metalicka cried over being beaten by an actual band, one of the all time great bands, Jethro Tull.

And since some of you don't remember Metalicka, don't bother about that, you did not miss all that much.

  • Metallica couldnt figure out a Tull song.I was amazed at their ignorance at the awards.Any rock band in the business would have applauded Tull for the award.

  • Fantastic!!!!!!!!!

  • Boy it's tough getting old. Thanks for still getting out there Ian and Martin !

  • @Live414

Didnt miss that much? Look, I hate to start fights over youtube, but thats so incredibly wrong I had to say somthing. Metallica is one of the biggest bands in the world, and are an influence to MANY musicians. Every single member is very talented at their instrument, and they've sold out stadiums all over the WORLD. Try checking out some songs like " The Unforgiven" " Nothing Else Matters" or " Fade to Black" they are all great songs that have inspired countless artists

  • @jcantrell7 Yes, you are right. I think that happen also with Queen. In that way The Beatles never had a front man and then all four are under the sunshine. Nice the see this inteview with someone else (apart from Ian), from Jethro Tull.

  • What a bloody great guitarist! and so down-to-earth as well

  • @MrJeppelin

    You are absolutely right.

  • The solo in Aqualung, it´s even better than the one in Stairway.

  • Ian Anderson has always been such a glaring front man, the rest of Tull has always been in the shadows (for me, anyway) ...What a treasure it is to find these Martin Barre interviews....may sound pretentious, he says...well, it doesn't...Barre's sincerity

shines through every much as Anderson's showmanship.
