  • Wierd title :)

  • how is it not appropriate.

  • WTF is a PIMP slap?

  • like a bitch slap.....the way Chris verbally slapped them at the end and they kind of submitted is the same say a pimp slaps his prostitute and she submits. Chris struck me as more dominant in regards to his agenda in this video.

  • Submitted? I've never seen anyone so thickheaded not get what Joe is saying. Chris Matthews is a moron and it showed in this vid. People only thinking about now and not 10 yrs from now is how we keep getting into these messes. That's all Joe said. He said many times he was for healthcare for the uninsured, just do it the right way and don't write a check and then sign it w/out knowing WTF is in it.....like our elected officials have been doing for the last 12 yrs.

  • Matthews wanted congress to increase the urgency factor...because people are sick and without insurance as we speak....he admits there are costs but we need to figure out how to get it done now and quickly...pussyfooting=stalling/procrastinating.

  • These guys deserve to be pimp slapped now and then. Have you heard them put down Schenectady NY for the umpteenth time. MSNBC is owned by Schenectady's own GE and has made a great comeback form hard times in the 1970s and 1980s. TV was first publically broadcast there at the Proctor Theater and the local college scene is impressive. Morning Blow and Mammalia Eye Candy Mika ought to take a drive up the Hudson Valley and see the state they work in outside of the Rock studio. I agree with Matthews.

  • @hansumjoe What industrialized countries have recently asked us for military support? It's more like we ask them for support on our latest invasion/occupation.

  • @joekiddlouischama There is a fair point behind her comments, but she was being wishy-washy and irresolute rather than speaking from conviction and Matthews called her on it.

  • @joekiddlouischama Consider some of Ms. Brzezinski's comments here: "I'm not sure it can be 'get done'" and "I just think we got to be careful with the conversation." "Careful with the conversation"? What is that statement supposed to mean? It reflects an artificial sense of neutrality and a holier-than-thou attitude and Matthews is correct that her analogy proves shallow.

  • @ttom4601 Matthews realized that rather than speaking out of conviction, Ms. Brzezinski was merely following Scarborough's line and projecting some spurious sense of perfect neutrality. In other words, Matthews saw the soft spot and went for the kill.

By the way, Matthews voted for George W. Bush in 2000 and Michael Steele in 2006, not exactly the patterns of a "king liberal."

  • @ttom4601 Let me note that I like Scarborough well enough, even when I disagree with him and even with his myriad flaws. But I don't believe that Ms. Brzezinski is simply an independent thinker. She's independent to a degree, but much of her "independence" comes from following Scarborough's lead and supporting his train of thought like a personal cheerleader.

  • @Product1999 The title is fitting, you're right.

  • @Product1999 ... precisely.

  • @MastaBlasta22 The CBO estimates that the health care bill will decrease the deficit over the long haul. Whether that estimate proves correct or not remains to be seen, but it's better than conjecture.

And Matthews understood what Scarborough was saying. However, his point was that the legislation would only pass with dedication, not constant hedging over costs. Let's face it, Scarborough was never interested in health care, irrespective of the price.
